If you have an android mobile it is possible that you want to install whatsapp first on your mobile. Now whatsapp is the no 1 messaging app in Globally. 

On the whatsapp now you can do many things like sendmessages, audio,video and documents. And approx 30 billion messages sent per day on whatsapp. 

But on Feb 2014 Whatsapp is acquiring by the Facebook on 19 billion dollar.

Jan Koum Story

Jan koum is the founder and CEO of Whatsapp. Jan koum was born in the village of Ukraine. But in 1992 jan koum decided to move California with his mother and grandmother because of some political issues. 

There in California (America) they got the 2 bhk flat with the help of American Govt. And  there in the California he work in the grocery store as a cleaner and his mother  work as a babysitter. That time he study networking and other manuals related to computer networking  after purchasing second hand bookstore.

After two years when he fully trained in networking his interested goes to learn coding so that he got the chance to study in “San jose state University” along with that he started job as a security tester in the university,

But after roughly 6 months he got the biggest opportunity in yahoo as a Infrastructure Engineer still now he is study in the college. But after the 9 years of service in yahoo he decided to quit the job with his friend “Brian Acton”.

Brian Acton

Brain Acton was lived in Central florida and completed his  computer science graduation from standford university, after that he started job in apple as a software Engineer. And he join the yahoo company in 1996.

Actually Brian Acton is the best friend of Jan koum and they met with each other at yahoo office. So they both decided to quit the job from yahoo and both started tour of south America with each other. After completing the tour.

Whatsapp Idea

Jan koum purchase an iphone and koum found that the appstore of the Iphone is going to famous in future and the app of the stores is going in demanding so that koum decided to create an app for appstore. And finally when he watch the movie he got the idea that he will be create an app for messaging from which they can send his message on real time and can update hi status and  which is free of cost.

So he disscuss his plan with Brian Acton and starting work on the app whose name is whatsapp. When whatsapp is created Acton decide to take the money for first time install on iphone but in the android they decided to take the money yearly.

Difficulty while whatsapp

There is also the problems  for the whatsapp  the time of registration when otp was sent on the users mobile phone, that time the charges of otp was deducted from the jan koum bank account so that after some time in the koum account there is no money all the money was deducted from his account.

So Jan koum decided to go for the interview, He went to facebook office for the interview but unfortunity he did not select for after that he went to the twitter office for the interview but there is also same thing he did not selected for the job.

So Both decided to get fund from their X yahoo employee and friends. So that they get the huge amount and after that the Company will run in successfully.

But in 2014 whatsapp is acquiring by the Facebook with the 19 billion$ which is the great deal on all time in the tech history. And now in the whatsapp 45% of jan koum 20% of Brian Acton of partnership. And after acquising  do not take money from their users it is free for everyone iphone and android users.
